Like the snails on lettuces the cameras hover on the salads recently planted by Mr Yea Yeavn . Action IEC is completing a series of 10 instructional videos for farmers. The final shoot is in Siem Reap and focuses on two technologies : salads and sweet corns. Various other topics are covered in the series such as frog farming, chick raising, poultry farms, pig feed preparation, cucumbers, long beans, eggplant and fodder for cows. In each film many techniques are revealed such as preparing soil and compost for nurseries and for planting in rows. Action IEC will likely deliver more than 10 video clips and will also make a special short video to better explain the aim and achievements of the TSSD project.

Action IEC key staff was very happy and interested to join the HelpAge board meeting this week . Many interesting issues were raised related to the current and future developments of the organisation. Among the main points discussed , human ressource management and planning for the future strategies. One important take away information is the aim to further expand the existing 0PA model to another 40 areas in Battambang Bantey Meanchey and Siem Reap . The meeting was an opportunity to observe the strong corporate and institutional values of Help Age in Cambodia.
